Trying to explain technical interviews to non-tech people is so hard

Trying to explain technical interviews to non-tech people is so hard. Explaining technical interviews to someone who's not in tech is just so hard. 'cause I'll be like, oh, y'all have an interview. And then I'll tell someone, oh yeah, I can't party or like do stuff. I have to study for this interview. They're like, why would you have to study for an interview? 'Cause you never know what these technical interviews, it can be like, you know, like an elite code question, easy, medium, hard. Or you're just coding. Or it could be like, show me every project you've done in the last six months and you have to explain your code and your thought process. Or you can get the worst type. I hate this type of interview. It's like the pop quiz. Like, dude, what's this? What's that? How do you get this? Use this command. Oh, I hate that interview. My favorite out of the three technical interview types is definitely to show your projects because like it's literally your projects. You only have to explain what you did. But I guess it's kind of a little hard now 'cause you have AI. So like, people do projects AI writes most of it. But I don't know, 'cause I just hate having to explain technical interviews people.
