Okay, does anyone else in Computer Science feel this way? I feel like a computer science degree doesn't guarantee you a job like in other degrees or majors. Because before, maybe, but in 2026 it does not do that. And I was trying to explain to my parents last week why I was taking, you know, the rest of the summer to do projects and get my certifications, because I wanted to leave the summer with two certifications and three personal projects. And they just weren't like getting why I was doing it. And then, you know, quote-quote, my mom said I just because I wanted to be lazy and I didn't want to work for the summer. And I was like, computer science is so different than other fields. Like, you can't just have a degree. Like, you have to have experience, you have to have projects and certifications, you know, to get a job. And some people do do it with just the degree, you know, congratulations to them. But it's so many of us. Like, you have to, you know, stand out some more. So does anyone else feel this way? Like, you need more than just a degree to get a leg up?
