𝐌𝐲 𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐣𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐧𝐞𝐲 𝐭𝐨 𝐛𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐔𝐊’𝐬 𝟏𝐬𝐭 𝐝𝐞𝐚𝐟𝐛𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐝 𝐝𝐨𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫… _ To new followers and old, so many of you have asked how I got through medical school, what hurdles I faced, and why it took me so long (10 bloomin’ years!) to get there. And to be honest, i have to sometimes ask myself that question over and over. So I thought I’d make a little (well, long) recap on things, because it most certainly has been a rollercoaster. Meanwhile, I wanted to say - to any of you working towards a goal that you’re worried you won’t achieve, perhaps because of setbacks or because of how so far in the future feels daunting, please do not give up. Self belief, hard work, and life experience can only end in better things, even if it does feel impossible at times. And believe me, I know that feeling. It’s a long vid, but the journey has been long, too.
