LET'S GO TO TURKS & CAICOS 🐚

Kaitlyn Gale was right when she said go to Turks and Caicos. So travel with me to one of my favorite places ever. My husband and I are going for our one-year anniversary. We came here last year for our honeymoon and immediately knew we would be booking a trip back because there truly is nothing like Turks. Our flight out of Denver took off at 5 AM. So as you could imagine, it was a very early morning. We got up at 1:45. It was kind of insane. Thankfully, we loaded up the car with everything the night before. So I just made my coffee and then we headed up to Denver. Coffee at 4:45 in the morning is not for me. My stomach hurts so bad. Our bag the night before was 56 pounds and when we got to the airport, it was just under 50. There was so much shit in our carry-ons because I overpacked to the max. We had a layover in Orlando and then we were headed to Turks. The flight into Turks is one of the prettiest things ever. The water is just unreal. The Turks and Caicos airport is very small and something to note if you ever travel here is they don't have Ubers. They only have taxi drivers here or personal drivers. I will say it is a little pricey and you have to plan ahead and just note that before going. But we immediately got to the beach, ordered drinks and got some sun. I am so happy to be here. The water is so pretty. I will never get over it. Because we hadn't eaten all day, I got drunk off of two drinks. I could not even lie. Didn't even bother washing my hair. Went to dinner with salt water hair. But the views were so, so pretty. We both got salmon for dinner tonight and it was so good. And there was a little cat and if you know me, I love cats and I want to take him home. Because we had such a long travel day, we just ended the night with some cocktails from the bar. And we're so excited to be here and celebrating our wedding anniversary and I cannot wait to just relax and enjoy. We both got salmon for dinner tonight and it was so good.
