I got a new Halloween themed scraper tool for my soap that I'm hoping will look kind of like drizzled or drippy blood. I thought this would be perfect for a black and red themed spooky soap. And I had the perfect bat embeds to go on top. I'm really hoping this turns out because normally my scraper tools kind of remove the top layer of soap, but I feel like this one went more down into the soap, which makes me a bit nervous but also excited. I scraped it a couple times across my slab and then I went in with a little scraper on the end to clean up the edges. I went with a solid deep black on top. And then I topped it with a red shade. Originally, it was like really fire truck red, but then I realized I should probably add a little black to it to give it a more deep red, realistic blood look. I sent it with cherry, blood orange, dark plum, blackberry, and black vanilla. Moody, juicy, and mysterious.
