Oh I'm slightly disappointed- they don't really look like bees in the cute way. More like an infestation way. The first time I used these new soap molds and be impression mats, the consensus was that they looked like scary termites or like creepy bugs versus cute bees. I added oatmeal to that batch, which kind of turned my golden color more of a tan color. So I understand where you're coming from, even though I personally thought they were kind of organic and cute. This time I decided to try something completely different to try to give more of that cute bee vibe. I was going for the first time. I started with one of your suggestions, which was dusting the top of these mats with some golden shimmer and then I started with a yellow color as opposed to a tan gold. The next layer was inspired by wild flower shades. So I went with an orange, a light pink, and then kind of a magenta purpley color. I added a golden pencil line between these layers to match that golden dust on top. I scented it with golden wild flower honey, sweet clover and chamomile.
