Okay, so the Bible says love never fails. So if it fails, then it was never love based off of the message in the book. But I don't think that this is true. Hold up, let me explain. Let me cook. The relationship failed, but the love never did. I felt this way about you for 10 years, ever since I was a little kid. I loved you enough to let you leave. And I wanted what's best for you, even if the best didn't include me. Maybe love never fails cause his job isn't to make someone stay, but rather to enjoy the memories that you made with them. Sit back, reminisce and appreciate. And people tell me that it was never love, all because you didn't feel the same. But just cause something's one sided doesn't mean it changes its definition or its name. So I think it was love, even though in a way it failed. I never changed the way I feel about you. I'll anchored up while your ship has set sail. And I'm perfectly fine with loving you, even after knowing that you don't. I'll love you always and forever, even after knowing that you won't. The Bible says love never fails, but I think that you are my exception. Even if it was one sided, its meaning doesn't change based off of its direction. If you guys like that poem, there's plenty more just like it in my new book Loved and Lost Vol. 1 which is available on Amazon or if you click the link in my bio.
