This is one of the best versions of Lord of the Rings that I own! This is how it was designed. This is what it was originally imagined. All six Lord of the Rings books inside of a single binding. But due to pressure from his publishers, not to mention the cost of printing at the time, they split it up into three books and that's why now they call it a trilogy. This is one of my favorite versions. Not only does it have the sprayed edges, when you remove this dust cover, it has probably one of the best bindings that sits perfectly on your shelf. This version is not only special because you get all six books in one binding, but you also get Tolkien's original artwork for how he pictured Middle Earth. Like Bag End, Forest of Lothlórien in Spring, or even the entrance to Dunharrow. So whether you're a huge Lord of the Rings fan or you just want to get the perfect gift for someone that is, I'm going to leave a link for it right down here in the bottom left hand corner for you.
