Everyone talks about baby proofing but no one is talking about what you're doing to prepare mentally for our last baby. A lot of my preparation has looked less like decorating a nursery and more like preparing our home for another season of chaos. So while we're getting all the baby things ready, we've also been getting our ADT blue system set up around the house. Not only do we have another baby to protect, but countless memories and milestones ahead. I love being able to check in right from my phone, get alerts and stay connected to what's happening in our house, even when things get real busy. And with almost four kids, knowing our home is taken care of gives me one less thing to think about during this big lifestyle change. In the middle of all this chaos, it's nice to have control over something. There are definitely still a million things left on my baby prep checklist, but feeling safe and having one less thing to worry about feels really good right about now. I'm trying really hard to use these next few months to get as prepared as possible before life with our last baby enters a new level of chaos. Bye!
