having kids really close together in age is easier in the long run I had four kids in four and a half years my family thought I was crazy every time I called them with a pregnancy announcement my dad was like can we get you a TV please do something else besides make babies and it was crazy at the start my oldest was four and a half when my fourth child was born even in that early stage they were all kind of like babies together and we stayed around the house we kept it very calm and then they all kind of became preschoolers together so we did trips to the library story time nap time outside time park time then they kind of all became elementary school kids together that's when we started branching out more doing more team sports more after school activities that's when we started taking our first family trips together where we went somewhere besides my mom's house and then they kind of all became middle school kids together this is when we started going to national parks we started going on ski trips we started trying to fly places and every time they've gone into a new stage it's like they all kind of go together my oldest is like kind of a mother to the younger and then my younger kids like grew up a little bit faster so it's almost like I have four kids that are almost all the exact same age and if you can get past that really early chaotic stage you can just get your youngest to like sit up and crawl you're on your way to having a really cool family where you're almost like one big kickball team now have 19 18 16 almost 15 and I just love the shape of my family I didn't plan it this way I miscarried first pregnancy and so we never knew if we could get pregnant or keep the babies and then we just kept getting pregnant after that so if you're young enough and you're planning out your family and you have the blessing of actually being able to plan out when you have a baby I highly recommend having your kids close together it's so hard at the beginning and in the end it's literally my favorite thing
