There was a time I wondered why certain doors kept closing. Why some dreams ended before I was ready to let them go. Losing my leg changed my life forever. There were goals I thought I’d never get another chance to chase. There were seasons where all I could do was keep showing up, keep working, and trust that God was doing something I couldn’t yet understand. Looking back now, I can see He was never delaying my purpose—He was preparing me for it. From learning to walk again, to building a business that helps others, to becoming a husband and father, and now having the opportunity to wear Team USA across my back again… none of it happened on my timeline.
