Yesterday I posted that Hotel Xcaret Mexico is a scam at $2,000 and that it's lots of people said, "No hotel is worth $2,000." I didn't know what I was talking about. You two actual luxury hotels that are 10 times better than Xcaret and half the cost. The Springs Reserve in Costa Rica at the Arenal Volcano. This is us tubing down a Costa Rican jungle while monkeys played over our balcony. And here's our ranges from $500 a night to $2,000 a night. It was incredibly spacious. Twice maid service and turned down service. We had a private balcony overlooking the volcano. The Golden Bachelor's multiple movies. Lots stayed here. This is what is supposed to not that jacuzzi set out in that only works half the time at Xcaret. Mama sloth and her baby playing outside our balcony. Oh, "Eco Parks." It's all inclusive. This property is covered in hidden water slides, tons of pools and natural hot heated by the volcano. There's waterfalls to plenty of swim up bars. Wildlife everywhere. You will wait for nothing. A golf cart anywhere you wanna go on property. You're never going to or stand in line. There's live entertainment, kids club stuff to do all plenty of swim up bars. No, your meals aren't here is actually quality over quantity. In the interest of somewhat tropical and similar vibes to Mexico, on my list is also in Costa Rica. The Peace Lodge. It is an active animal sanctuary and rescue. Rooms here start around $500, go up to $1200 and there's only 18 cabins on property. Middle of the jungle. Look at this something out of a storybook. There's a fire waiting for you when you check in. A balcony with an outdoor tub overlooking the rainforest. And wait until you see this bathroom. Jacuzzi tub, but there's an indoor waterfall in the garden in your bathroom. It's a working ranch devoted to taking care of the animals that live here. As you're respectful, you get to enjoy and spend time with all of them. Not crowded. There to take care of anything. There's miles and miles of hikes through beautiful waterfalls. On property restaurant with everything you can imagine. And just look at this pool. The best part is no one's going to sell you anything at either hotel. You can absolutely do better than Xcaret. I'll put more details in the comments.
