In my opinion, it's disappointing when a married couple splits every bill 50/50. If you're not ready to provide for your wife, why get married? Even if she has her own job and earns her own money, I So first of all, I really appreciate your comment and you watching my videos. He's replying to a video I made where I was talking about how my wife and I split our bills and how basically she doesn't pay any of the bills and I pay all of the bills. So even though me and this guy kind of relate in the sense of what we do, we both pay the bills and take care of our families and our wives are not expected to contribute to the bills, I still don't agree with his opinion or I don't agree with his comment right here. Because he said, if you are not ready to provide for your wife, why would you get married? I think someone can still get married even if they cannot provide for their wife. Even if they have a mutual agreement between themselves on how they split the bills and they both are comfortable with that, I feel like that's fine. Just because I believe the husband should be responsible for taking care of his wife, doesn't mean that everyone is in that same position. There are many spouses that feel super comfortable with splitting the bills 50/50 and even relationships where the wife pays the bills and the husband stays home with the kids.
