This study came out 10 weeks ago and I can’t stop thinking about it. 746 women with PCOS (now called PMOS — that’s a whole other post). The ones with the highest insulin resistance ovulated less, fell pregnant less, and their live birth rates were nearly HALF of the women with the lowest. Nobody is telling women this. We get handed a diagnosis, told to “come back when you want to get pregnant,” and left to figure the rest out alone. But here’s what the researchers said: one of the most powerful tools for insulin sensitivity is exercise. Building muscle. Moving daily. Managing stress on your body — not adding more of it. That’s the exact reason the 3-2-8 Method exists. Three strength days. Two Pilates/barre days. Eight thousand steps. Every number has a job — and that job is working WITH your hormones, not against them. You were never broken. You were just never told how your body works.
