Ovulation isn’t something you can force — but you can absolutely train the environment it depends on. That’s what these three do. 1️ Lateral squats — big lower-body moves recruit the most muscle, and muscle is where your glucose goes. Less circulating insulin = a calmer signal to your ovaries. 2️ Slow eccentric strength — lowering for 3-4 counts builds insulin-sensitive muscle without spiking cortisol. Punishment cardio does the opposite. 3️ Pilates pelvic floor work — deep core breathing with pelvic floor engagement. Better blood flow to your pelvis, a calmer nervous system, and the foundation every other lift depends on. The most skipped, most important five minutes in women’s training. Bonus: daily walking — the most underrated glucose-clearer there is, especially after meals. The research is loud on this now: insulin resistance sits at the centre of PCOS — it’s literally why they just renamed the whole condition. Train for that, and you’re training for everything downstream of it. Not medical advice — get your bloods done, know YOUR numbers. But if you’re going to move your body anyway, move it like it matters. Every one of these lives inside Body By Barre Studio — my women’s health app, built around the 3-2-8 Method. Strength, Pilates, barre and daily movement, all designed for hormonal bodies. Head to my bi0 to join. #pcos #ttc #fertility
