Let's talk volufiline! If you've been living under a rock or are not chronically on skincare TikTok like I am, volufiline is a lipid stimulator. It's an ingredient that actually used to be used for boob jobs in the day because it stimulates fat cells. No, it's not going to make you fat. It's a targeted treatment that basically adds plumpness and fullness to the area that you apply it. It is fantastic as a topical ingredient in skincare. Does it have crazy side effects that are going to make you look like you got filler? No. But it can provide plump like plumpness very subtly over time, which as someone who does not want to go in and get Botox or filler in my face, I got lip injections four years ago, but I've never put any needles in my face. So I'm going to exhaust every topical product that I can before I go into an office, okay? That being said, I'm gonna walk you through all the volufiline creams that I have, what I like, don't like, and what I recommend. First one is the serum from Sungboon Editor. This contains volufiline, collagen, adenosine, niacinamide and adenosine. Does this have a drastic plumping effect? No. I've gone through almost the entire bottle. I will say it's incredibly hydrating but not super plumping. It looks like it does not have a ton of volufiline in the formulation, that makes sense because it's more of like a comprehensive treatment. That being said, if you are dealing with fine lines and dehydration, this is a great serum. Next up is Medicube's Multi Balm. This is one of the top products on TikTok. It is great for immediate hydration. But I will say I have not noticed a huge effect in terms of like an anti-aging formulation. Next is P:DL's Chestnut Retinol & Volufiline Cream. I love this stuff. So one differentiator is the way the formula is actually made in the bottle. The active ingredients have that clear oil shield around them. So this helps ensure the active ingredients don't immediately evaporate upon hitting the skin. The oil shield also helps ensure the active ingredients stay stable upon delivery to the skin. Plus, I love this syringe applicator. Unfortunately, I am a sucker for packaging. I've been using this for probably I've almost finished my second bottle. I do think I've noticed a difference in terms of my under eye hollowness. They do look so much better since I've been consistently using volufiline. This one contains 5% volufiline and a blend of retinol. Retinol is a form of vitamin A that your body can actually turn into a retinoid in fewer steps compared to retinol. So I do like that this formula uses retinol. And next is The Ordinary's 92% Volufiline Serum. Out of all the volufiline serums I've discussed today, this has the highest concentration. Normally I apply it with my fingers, but since I'm holding a microphone, I'm going straight to my lips. I will say this volufiline is kind of crazy. You can feel it working when you put it on the skin. It's really hard to describe. There's almost a warming sensation. And of course, so The Ordinary is so clean in terms of ingredients. This is literally just pure volufiline. So which one's my favorite? This is my favorite for plumping. This is my favorite for deep hydration. This is my favorite for an on-the-go quick refresh.
