These are the three habits I do daily to brighten my under eyes. As someone who has been insecure about their under eyes and dark circles and hollowness for the majority of their adult life, it took until this year for me to find products and a routine that works. So the first is hydration. I am consistently applying eye cream every day. Here is how I make that work for me ten times better. The second thing I do is apply a few drops of Volufiline to my eye cream. Volufiline is a lipid stimulator, meaning it is going to help plump the cells that you apply it over. Volufiline is a targeted treatment. You do not want to apply this all over your face. There are some people out there who have actually gotten fatter fingers from applying Volufiline, so be warned. I like to do a thick layer of cream with my Volufiline. And then the third thing I do is lock it all in with a pair of eye patches daily. The eye patchers are going to act as an occlusive layer above the cream, meaning it is going to increase product absorption and it is going to help prevent transepidermal water loss. Basically, it will help prevent the product that you apply under it from evaporating quicker, meaning it is going to trap all of those hydrating delicious ingredients onto the skin for longer. I have been doing this routine for about a year. I started doing this last summer and the difference in my under eye appearance has been lethal. A couple tips though for maximizing the results of this. I don't like layering Volufiline and retinol together because they can cause irritation. I try to really just stick to hydrating ingredients with no actives. I also do not recommend sleeping with eye patches on. Once the eye patches dry out, they will actually start pulling moisture from your skin, so you only want to leave them on for about 30 minutes max. Any remaining product, I like to apply on my lips. If you do start using Volufiline and notice a warming tingling sensation, this is completely normal. As always, what works for me might not work for you, but this is what has worked wonders for my under eyes. Let me know if you guys have any questions. Bye.
