CRANDALL IS WORKING AT THE HOSPITAL, HE'S THE EMERGENCY ROOM DOCTOR, WALKS OUT OF THE ROOM, HE'S IN THE HALLWAY, AND HE FEELS GOD SAY TO HIM, GO BACK AND PRAY FOR THAT MAN. AND HE'S THINKING, “THAT’S RIDICULOUS, YOU KNOW, I'M A CHRISTIAN, BUT I'M NOT GOING BACK IN, HE FEELS GOD PROMPT HIM AGAIN, GO BACK AND PRAY FOR THAT MAN. SO HE WALKS BACK IN THERE, PREPARING THE BODY FOR THE MORGUE, OKAY, AND HE SAYS TO THE NURSE, “WE NEED TO SHOCK HIM ONE MORE TIME." BUT BEFORE HE DOES THAT, HE PRAYS, HE PRAYS OVER HIM. HE SAYS, “SHOCK HIM AGAIN." THE NURSE SAYS, “WE CAN'T SHOCK HIM AGAIN, WE TRIED FOR 40 MINUTES, THERE WAS NO HEARTBEAT. EVEN IF WE GOT A HEARTBEAT, HE'D BE— HE'D BE BRAIN DEAD, RIGHT? HE'S BEEN DEAD FOR 40 MINUTES." THEY SHOCK HIM. DR. CRANDALL SAID, “IMMEDIATELY, A HEARTBEAT CAME BACK. A PERFECT HEARTBEAT, AFTER THEY TRIED FOR 40 MINUTES. WITHIN TWO DAYS, JEFF MARKIN WAS AWAKE. WE INTERVIEWED JEFF MARKIN FOR THIS DOCUMENTARY. COMPLETELY HEALTHY, RECOVERED, AND IS FINE. I WAS VERY SKEPTICAL GOING INTO IT, BECAUSE I'M THINKING, “COME ON, DID YOU REALLY— WERE YOU DEAD FOR 40 MINUTES?" AND THEN TO SIT ACROSS FROM THIS PERSON, AND HAVE THE DOCTOR CORROBORATE ALL OF IT, THAT WAS VERY CONVICTING FOR ME, BUT ALSO INCREDIBLE.

A man who was dead for 40 minutes, Jeff Markin, has a heart attack in the hospital, dies. They try to revive him for 40 minutes, to no avail. They pronounced him dead. Dr. Crandall is working at the hospital, he's the emergency room doctor, walks out of the room. He's in the hallway and he feels God say to him, go back and pray for that man. And he's thinking, that's ridiculous. You know, I'm a Christian, but I'm not going back in. He feels God prompt him again, go back and pray for that man. So he walks back in there, preparing the body for the morgue, okay. And he says to the nurse, we need to shock him one more time. But before he does that, he prays. He prays over him. He says, shock him again. The nurse says, we can't shock him again. We tried for 40 minutes, there was no heartbeat. Even if we got a heartbeat, he'd be, he'd be brain dead, right? He's been dead for 40 minutes. They shock him. Dr. Crandall said, immediately, a heartbeat came back. A perfect heartbeat, after they tried for 40 minutes. Within two days, Jeff Markin was awake. We interviewed Jeff Markin for this documentary, completely healthy, recovered, and is fine. I was very skeptical going into it, because I'm thinking, come on, did you really, were you dead for 40 minutes? And then to sit across from this person, and have the doctor corroborate all of it, that was very convicting for me, but also incredible.
