Hook

This time I can't help me watch my daughter while I go to school this evening, which I've been telling him for a week now because he said real life he said he's gonna miss out on money. Do you know how many times I've had to call into work because I don't have a babysitter? Because we've been talking about splitting daycare and he's not splitting it. Let's call it a spade a spade. Most relationships and marriages that end, you know, when you have a kid, the mom takes the kid, most instances, right? The moms get the short end of the stick. I'm sorry. Because dad gets to go on living his life if he wants to go out and party, hang out with his friends or do something on the weekend, he doesn't need a babysitter. He doesn't have to pay daycare costs, anything like that. He is scott-free. He can have fun, he can have fun. And I'm saying this because I'm married and we have a kid. Well guess what? We wanted to go to the movies last weekend. We couldn't do it because our kid was fussy and we were like, no, we stayed in and ordered pizza and wings. It's so different when you live with the kid. And my opinion is, you shouldn't have to force or ask the baby daddy to come and get his kid. He should want to do that. Now she's trying to go to school, further education, make a better life for herself and make a better life for him. And he's being difficult. Now, don't move on and get another dude because then all the bets off the table. That's gonna really get him fired up. I just don't understand why one parent has to carry the load and the burden when the other parent can help. Y'all gotta stop thinking child support is the only thing that you have to do. There's more to it than that. Show up in your kids life. That $500 to $1000 a month doesn't offer you a free hall pass to be an absent parent.
