I spent the last weekend in New York and I very quickly became obsessed with Cafe Paradiso's coffee on tap. It is quite literally chef's kiss. It's the best coffee I've ever had in my entire life. So of course I had to come home and learn how to make it. I have perfected the recipe. So, if you too wonder what Cafe Paradiso's coffee on tap tastes like, follow this recipe because it is exactly the same. Okay, first we're gonna start with our freshly brewed espresso shot. This is about 2 ounces. And then our sweetener. So I'm going in with my Trader Joe's vanilla bean paste. I love anything that tastes like vanilla, so I'm going in with my Trader Joe's vanilla bean paste and I'm going to do about half a tablespoon of this. And then the star of the show is actually the salt. They use black salt, but I'm just using this kosher salt and I do about two pinches of salt in here. It's the best part. Trust me. And while our espresso is still hot, we're gonna give that a little mix. Okay, this is the most important step after the salt. It's the milk. You cannot add too much milk or it's going to be milky and it's not going to taste like Cafe Paradiso, which is what we're going for, right? So you are going to add about two to two and a half ounces of milk. And just measure it. Beautiful. This is how your coffee should be looking at this point. And then we're going to grab a cup. Okay, we got our cup. It is filled with ice all the way to the top. It has to be touching the rim. And we're just gonna pour over our freshly made coffee over ice because of course it has to be iced. And it is the perfect ratio. Every single time. Okay. Moment of truth. Our taste test. When I tell you this tastes exactly like Cafe Paradiso, 280. I cannot wait to show my friends and this because he's literally going to freak out. But if you are also obsessed with seeing it online and you're wondering, am I even going to like that when you take your trip to New York, try this at home because you won't be disappointed. Cheers. Yeah, it's amazing.
