I got my master's degree in social work, worked in social work for about 10 years, and then I pivoted my career. I doubled my salary in five years. And it was all because I did what social workers do. I found a gap. I filled the gap. And the gap was finding the care that they were providing and so I was trying to figure out creative solutions to get people to find resources faster, they needed them. And that turned into me getting another marketing degree, which isn't for everybody and isn't transparently, almost and I don't talk about it and so in that way, I think it's kind of unnecessary. But I got that other masters in marketing and I started my own company, doing consulting for healthcare and mental health organizations in their marketing department, right. This, this niche skill set that I had where I was just asked to be in rooms with the marketing teams that I was working with. They just wanted my brain on it, which is like the highest ever. I wanted to make this video. Social worker to social worker. If you are somebody who got their social work degree and licence, are doing direct care, I.E. micro and macro social work. The whole, well, I say it's marketing because that helps me get jobs. Between you and me, macro. It's macro. It's just policy. Have expand where social workers are present. Personally, I believe social workers belong in all spaces, especially in leadership positions in healthcare organization. I found a creative solution that got the people the care that they needed and I doubled my salary. If you're interested at all, if you think this path for you, follow along. I'll break down step by step how I did it and what I've been up to and the type of contracts I've been getting, where I am today. I think social workers need to look out for each other. Okay.
