Imagine how much propaganda it took to convince us that waiting for marriage is weird. Because if you can't wait for me while I'm young and hot, then why would you wait for me when I'm, like, postpartum? Why would you wait for me when I'm, like, old and there's, like, young hot out there and I try to hit you with like, oh, gotta take the car for a test drive before you buy it. A car investment that instantly depreciates. That's what we're comparing marriage to: A short term investment. You don't buy a car thinking you're gonna have for the rest of your life. You buy a car thinking you're gonna have it for, max, six years. Talk about a long term investment. A high value investment. A house. You're gonna move all your things in it and sleep in it for a night before you decide if you wanna buy it or not. No. Always blows my mind when I meet somebody and they're like, surprised that I don't believe in intimacy before marriage. Always make it seem like, oh, that's like an outdated thing, which is such a lie. So many people are on this journey, literally just looking in the wrong places.
