This is my This is my sister in law, Skye. She's 37 years old and she's just been diagnosed with Skye's story 🦋 and she's just been diagnosed with stage 4 terminal breast cancer. Originally was diagnosed three years ago just a day after just a day after her auntie passed away from the same form of cancer. Unfortunately now we've been told that it can't be cured and that she will have to have specialist treatment to be able to to be able to extend her life as much as possible. Skye Skye is the person that is always there for you. I don't think I've ever met someone who is so and tuned in to other people's emotions. She's so emotionally intelligent. She is the best auntie to our nephew Kayson and we and we just wanna do everything we can to keep her here as long as possible. Think Skye is Think Skye is probably the strongest person She has been She has been through hell and back over the last couple of years She's had and now and now he's going through quite aggressive chemotherapy and radiotherapy to try and to try and just relieve the discomfort with the effects with the effects of her diagnosis. Lives a completely doesn't doesn't eat any meat or any refined sugar. We wanna give her the best opportunity of seeing her nephew grow up of living a. A long of living a. A long life as long as possible. We've started a gofundme. We've started a gofundme. So far we've raised three and a half thousand And And I just wanna say a huge thank you to all our friends and family We can't We can't believe how generous our village Unfortunately, Unfortunately, it's just not enough to access specialist private healthcare. Consultation fees cost £30-50k These treatments come at a significant cost. The NHS The NHS only offers certain amount of treatment and drugs for Skye and you can only access extended treatment through private healthcare. Consultation fees cost £300 which is already like 10% of the money we've raised. We gonna run out of money once we once we start getting these consultations and getting a second opinion on From my family From my family to yours, you never think it's gonna be you in this position.
