one of the best realisations that I've had about owning your own home is that you can do whatever the hell you like with it. Still quite can't believe that I sat at my kitchen table like this working sometimes for the last four years when we had a spare bedroom upstairs that nobody stayed in. Also getting to the point where I was absolutely miserable working from home because I didn't have a proper office and I couldn't switch off when I was working. So after half an hour of scrolling on Pinterest, I had a vision and off to IKEA we went. Of course, we had to build the carcasses first just to check that we can measure properly and then confirm we can. After four years of building flat pack furniture, I can finally say that I'm getting really good at it. We probably did this the wrong way around building because we built all of this first and then we had to move it all the next day so that I could get in there and start painting. I didn't actually hide this green color on the back wall, but we're trying to change all of the house to kind of be a bit more cohesive. So we went for a slightly darker color. I actually believe how much dust there was in this room. So I've wiped it down and the Dyson. I've slightly cleaned it all. The vision was a bit like darker, moodier colors. I absolutely love dark, moody colors. The selection they've got is better than any other brand I've come across. So highly recommend.
