My dental insurance won't pay Is health insurance a scam? So I'm starting to think this whole insurance game is bullshit. Because my insurance, my dental insurance won't cover an implant, which I already had done. Came out of pocket for it, but I'll get back to that. And it won't pay for a crown, which is $2,200. The implant was almost $4,000. My insurance denied both of these things. They said, no, this is cosmetic, you don't need them. So I said, well, I'm gonna have to come out of pocket for it. Because I'm not gonna have a missing tooth and I'm not gonna have a cracked tooth. Let me tell you, it was a third of the price going cash only. So I sit and I've done the math, okay? I figured up my monthly payment at the end of the year for paying for my dental insurance, I could have paid for those things out of pocket and paid less than what I paid into insurance. Okay, look kids. I'm starting to really get pissed off about this game of insurance. It's a scam from the get-go. And these freaking insurance companies, guess who owns them all? BlackRock, State Street, and Vanguard.
