Every journey starts somewhere… ours started in PRETORIA. The long awaited move from South to North. The sleepless nights, countless doubts and many, many pep talks shared between two people who are just trying to live life a little differently than what we were traditionally taught. And let us tell you, it’s not easy… … we had grown so accustomed to our cape coastal life that we built together; quiet coffee mornings on our stoep fish n chips dinner dates last minute plans with friends at the beach family close by … we were scared shitless to leave it all behind for something we had no idea how to do or even if it would work out, but we had the will to at least try, and a support system that is constantly rooting for us to succeed. That’s all we needed for the spark to come to life, and 8 months of planning and somewhat of a departure due date that kept shrinking and shrinking until it was time to say goodbye. With teary eyes and a million memories flashing before our eyes as our hearts tightened at the loss we were feeling but at the same time, butterflies of adventure started fluttering. Pretoria… thank you for being our first home on this crazy adventure, for giving us the time and space to decompress from months of prep, for kick starting our “build”! #frontrunnerdometic And most importantly for giving us new memories to cherish. 🫶 Experience life through our lens... and remember... leave nothing but footprints and tracks. #bundubashingadventures #lapofsouthernafrica #creatorsearchinsights #bescared
