So I heard you're about to move to college for the first time or live in a rented apartment. Welcome to my college survival guys series. Every day for the next 30 days I'm going to be sharing all the best budgeting and affordability tips. Cuz let's be real, most of us are on a dollar tree budget. I know for a lot of you guys moving is coming extremely soon and today I'm going to go over some easy moving tips. And things you can get at Dollar Tree that will make your life a lot easier on moving day. I'm trying to hit 300k before this series is over so make sure to give me a follow. I'm your funniest reaction meme. I have moved many times in my day by myself and with movers. If you're looking for boxes to move, would highly recommend checking out by nothing groups on Facebook. You're going to want to keep a lot of the stuff you bought for your dorm either cute or new in its packaging, but when you get there and you have all this extra trash, you're going to have to haul off. I would go ahead and unwrap every single thing, every piece of trash. So coming prepared because the worst is to go to hang up all your picture frames, you realize you don't have any command hooks, you don't have any batteries for your new lamps or any extension cords and you try and go to the local to Walmart or Target in your college town and there is nobody else forgot their shit. For this next move in hack, you're going to want to go to Dollar Tree and pick up some of their really big black garbage bags. I think I've done this hack every single place I've moved, but what you do is you take the black garbage bag, you flip it upside down and you cut a tiny hole to put underneath your clothing hanger and then you tie it at the bottom. The regular trash bags at Dollar Tree are not as strong as kind of the black construction or work ones.
