Their other posts in the index, biggest breakout first.
The Lindsay Clancy case isn't just a headline. It's a conversation every family needs to have. There's a reason that the United States is one of the worst places to have a child. She reached out for help multiple times. Her husband, the person that's supposed to support, protect you out of anybody on this earth, have your back, failed her. He's not the only one to blame. Her obstetrician, the psychiatrist that was prescribing her medication after medication after medication. I have seen so many different posts. If you do not have any knowledge on postpartum depression, postpartum psychosis, how hormones work, what that actually looks like, then stop sharing what you think is right and wrong. Start doing your research and then spread education that's valuable and that could help millions of other women. To see this poor woman sit in a courtroom and have to relive all of this trauma. You have no idea how powerful your hormones are. You have no idea what it is like to be in a place where you don't want to hold your child, you don't love your child. And all in the same time you're sane enough to know something's wrong. Clearly she knew. She told everybody the people that are supposed to protect her, the healthcare system, her husband, friends, family. She needed help. She knew she needed help. I could go on and on about this. I just there's a reason I'm no longer at the bedside in our healthcare systems and it breaks my heart that this happened and it's even more terrifying that this is going to continue to happen because there's no significant changes happening in our healthcare system. So why don't we stop spreading opinions and start spreading education?
