Here's some things I was gonna tell my younger sister if I had one. I don't have one. Anyways, I made a list. Choose the high paying industry. A credit card is not a necessity. It really isn't. There are perks, but it's not a necessity. Travel and travel well. It will broaden your perspective. It will open your eyes up to more than just the four walls that you currently exist in. Spend money. Buy the bag, book the trip, so and so. Just don't accustom yourself to a life of scarcity. At the end of the day, what are we all doing this for? Spend some money. Learn to save money early. Learn how to practice saving. Even if it's small amounts, try and do that early on. Invest in your knowledge and your skills. You're never too old to learn. Do something outside of your job. It doesn't have to be monetised. Do something outside of your job that allows you to have more to your profile than just I work in X Y Z. Do something outside of your job that is a part of who you are. Automate as much as possible. This is not just pertains to finances. It's anything that could be automated. It automate it. Trust me, the older you get, the more you need to reduce the amount of decisions you need to make in a day because decision fatigue is really something possible. Where for possible. Try some new things, whatever that might look like for you. And find what you're good at. Again, not just for the sake of monetisation. Just find whether it's a hobby, whether that's a sport, whether that's a skill. Know what you're good at. And often when it does come to the point of wanting to monetise something, the first place to look is at what you're already good at as opposed to something you need to learn. Yeah, that's what I tell my younger sister. One.
