One of the hardest truths to accept is that God sees the entire story while you’re living one chapter. You see today. God sees ten years from now. You see the person you love. God sees the person they’re becoming. You see what you’re losing. God sees what He’s protecting. That’s why faith is so difficult. Because from your perspective… It feels like God took something good away. But God isn’t limited to your perspective. He sees every conversation you’ll never hear. Every decision you’ll never know about. Every betrayal that never reached you. Every compromise that would’ve slowly destroyed your peace. Every door that looked beautiful from the outside… But would’ve led you somewhere your calling was never meant to go. And that’s why sometimes God says no to the very thing you’re begging Him to keep. Not because He enjoys watching you hurt. But because He refuses to sacrifice your future just to satisfy your present. Think about that. You’re grieving the loss of someone… While God is protecting the future version of you that you haven’t even met yet. You keep asking, “God, why did You let them leave?” Maybe a better question is, “God… what did You save me from that I was too heartbroken to see?” One day you’ll realize… Some prayers were answered with open doors. Others were answered with closed ones. And both were expressions of God’s love. Because sometimes His greatest blessing isn’t giving you what you asked for. It’s refusing to let you keep what would’ve eventually broken you. Trust the God who sees what you can’t. Because His “no” is often protecting a “yes” that your current pain cannot yet understand.
