Well, South Korea offers financial support to families raising children, although the exact amount depends on the city or district. The amount can also be higher if you're having twins or multiples, or in some areas if it's your second or third child. Normally from birth, they welcome your baby with 2,000,000 to 4,000,000 won, or 84,000 to 168,000 pesos. From 0 to 11 months, monthly they give around 1,100,000 to 1,300,000 won, or 46,000 to 55,000 pesos. From 12 to 23 months, they give around 600,000 to 800,000 won, or 25,000 to 34,000 pesos per month. So by the time your child turns around two years old, the government support have added up to 100,000 pesos, or in some districts close to even over 1 million peso. So that's how.
