the whale shark had its magic milk, for results. and what makes this milk so magic? well, this. of course, isn't actually milk. it's a glow in the dark glaze. and after putting it on the stars spots and inside of this ceramic whale shark, i let it dry to the kiln to fire for, hopefully the final time. this glaze is special not only because it glows in the dark, but also because of the way that it fires, as it fires quite quickly and quite cool. so it was done after only three hours. when i went to the kiln to record this clip for y'all, i forgot that it was hot, because i'm not used to it. and touched the handle and burned my fingers to our regularly scheduled once it was cool this morning, i was able to open it up to reveal while it may look exactly the same now, i can assure you it is very different. all of these little light spots you see i put the glow in the dark glaze without any white glaze under it. so it's kind of like a very transparent white. if you're thinking, show us the glow in the dark, well, this is what it looks like right now. it is so sunny. but let me do my best. here is how our, whale shark now glows. *this is inside of my dogs kennel* i don't know about y'all, this is the first project where the glow in the dark has been absolutely perfect. but i might be able to make it even more perfect. i kinda wanna remake it, but with this galaxy design and with this comment in mind. while i was looking at the molds i realised i had this. see y'all tomorrow.
