How to Edit Your Makeup Videos Like a Pro

So this is how I edit my makeup videos to make it look Instagram and TikTok ready. Hey my loves and welcome to Beauty Class with VIIS, Episode 2. In my last episode I talked about how to properly set up your lighting as a makeup artist, filming placement and all of that. If you haven't seen that, kindly go watch it out before you come watch Episode 2. Now, let's head straight to editing. Mind you, the app I'm going to be using is the paid version of CapCut actually. Click on new video and click on the video that you want to edit and add it to your CapCut gallery. So we're going to be editing this video. Click on adjust and scroll down till you see adjustment. The first thing you want to do is sharpen and I'm going to be sharpening to like 50, 60, 70 depending on the quality of your video. So for this particular video, we are doing 55. The next thing we want to do is highlights. We want to increase our highlights to 10. And for shadows, we are going to reduce our shadows to -4. Then for blacks, we're going to reduce it to -3. For temperature, we're reducing temperature to 5. And for hue, we're increasing our hue to 10, 12. And for saturation, we are increasing our saturation to 5. And for brightness, we are reducing our brightness to -4. Then you click on apply to all clips. And that is all for adjustments. Now, click on retouch and click on face. CapCut automatically edits the video for you. But you have to like click on the non button and remove their edits from it. Now go to retouch and click on even. Increase the even to 30. Click on plump and increase plump to 20. Then you go to bright eyes and increase bright eyes to 100. Increase the white teeth to 100. And for clear, you turn back the clear to zero. And smooth, you turn it back to zero. Then click on smooth and increase your smooth from like 15 to 20 for this video, we're going to be doing 15. Then click on apply to all. And that is all for adjustments. Now, if you feel like it's too blur, like it's too much, you can click on your video and scroll down to effects, click on video effects, search for blur. Click on blur. This first one is the most possible and you can reduce the blur to how you want it to be. You can increase it and you can see how it's blur now. And you can also reduce it. So let's just do 20 instead. And apply it. And this is how your video will look like. If you're using a cinematic, you don't need to blur it again. Just save up your video. But if you're not using cinematic, you can also use this blur version of your background. And this is how your video look like after editing. So for people that are not using cinematic, you can also use this blur background. And this is how your video look like after editing. Let's save it. Click on export. Exporting in 4K. Please don't close CapCut or lock your screen. And that is how I edit my makeup videos to look flawless and crispy on CapCut.
