my honest rating of face mists I've tried as someone that has oily, dehydrated skin (soobooji) skin that is acne-prone skin + sensitive PART 2. my brutally honest reviews (no a d) 9.5/10 ✅ alc & fragrance free milky bi-phase mist that I really enjoyed as a toner! It helps to balance oil-water levels and I do think it's one of their best products to date it also works great when my skin barrier was damaged and feeling sensitive. Helped to soothe as well 8.5/10 ✅ alc & fragrance free the shimmery finish comes from their ceramide pearl particles not glitter! very cool visual effect but it honestly does not translate to a glow on the face it feels light but deeply hydrating, like their regular dive in toner but in a mist form. overall I would recommend you just get the OG dive in toner if you are seeking to use it like a toner. As a midday refresh it works well too but don't expect a makeup fixing kinda glow or effect 7.5/10 ❌ fragrance free ✅ alc free the formula itself is beautiful. Very hydrating, balancing, plumping and it gives a nice glow. I don't think the PDRN in this is doing much other than being a marketing buzzword. So don't expect skin repairing benefits. Nevertheless, it is lovely I like the concept of the jelly mist + oil! But the execution is a bit messy as the nozzle tends to get clogged/ spits at your face after about 1/4 bottle. More work needs to be done to make it a more pleasant user experience 5/10 ✅ alc free ❌ fragrance free as a PDRN mist, it's supposed to be for ultra sensitive skin. But I don't understand why they chose to put a fragrance in this. Not the best choice imo but it is a veey high concentration (3000 ppm) so it could still work if you're not sensitive to the fragrance as you can tell, this has a big proportion of oil compared to toner/ essence. As a result, it is VERY glowy and can be quite oily for my skin type. Dry skin will like this best but makeup users may find that your base will slip and slide/ cannot set as there is just so much oil 9/10 ✅ alc & fragrance free I love the misting mechanism! It's the finest one I've ever tried. It's literally like spraying your face with a cloud the formula itself is hydrating, slightly moisturizing and objectively good. BUT nothing like the claimed "dark spot correcting" can be heavy for oilier skin types tho. But dry skin will eat this up milky toner/ mist that gives a moisturized finish! Very hydrating and reminds me a lot of the Aestura cream mist but for a more affordable price! 7/10 ✅ alc free ❌ NOT fragrance free this is very clearly inspired by the d'Alba. As much as they don't say it, the packaging, color just screams d'Alba. but the direction of formula is very different (thankfully, else I think they will be in trouble) formula wise, it gives a glow very much like the d'Alba. The main difference here is this uses ferments, anti oxidants and ectoin. Whereas the d'Alba focuses on their famous truffle extract. I like the formula and I think it is a really good one to use as a toner for dryer skin types. For my oily skin I feel it is a bit heavy and greasy tho 10/10 ✅ alc & fragrance free another jelly mist bit done right! One of the best dr Althea products that I've used imo. I love the way the jelly mist plumps the skin without leaving too much heft great for oily skin with inner dehydration. Doesn't leave a overly heavy glow too 9.5/10 ✅ alc & fragrance free like the formula! Very hydrating, slightly milky which helps to balance the skin's oil and water levels so you don't overproduce on oil. The vegan PDRN in this is still debatable if it truly works but I like how they are putting a good amount of it in the formula. best for dryer skin types or oily skin that is damaged. It leans to a more moisturized and dewy finish so avoid if you dislike that
