I own over 500 cookbooks and these are my five favorite from 2026 so far. I'm going to talk about this book because I go back to it time and time again. I just made the potato salad recipe from it because my family asks if the Silver Palate cookbook, it is an oldie but a goodie. Honestly, you guys, this is before Martha really took it up a notch. I have been going back to Bobby Flay over and over again. These books have been restaurant quality and I know he's famous for a reason, but I never really gave his cookbooks much thought until Sundays with Sophie. I absolutely love the chicken Milanese. It's the best dinner for a weeknight. Bobby at Home, a little bit more casual, a little bit more cozy, but I've made the taco recipes from here. He's got burgers in both of them. The salads are great. I just love these two books of his so very much. And every time I can't think of what to have for dinner, I just go to one of these two books. What to Cook When You Don't Feel Like Cooking. I didn't think I was gonna love this book as much as I do. I love the idea of it being in time stamps, so what to cook when you don't feel like cooking is a great book if you're short on time, you don't want a ton of ingredients, you want more casual but you still enjoy good food. I was actually blown away by how this all came together. A lot of these quick, easy dinner books kind of lack in flavor and innovation. Not this one. This one is so good. I cannot wait for her second book that comes out this month. Now I talk about this book at nauseam. This is America's Test Kitchen's new vegetarian cookbook. There are 500 recipes in here. All vegetarian. A dream quesadillas. I have made them a couple times now and they are so easy, so delicious. Goat cheese, spinach, I just cannot stop thinking about them. So vegetarian. You love this if you're vegetarian and you struggle with exciting, innovative ingredients. Grab this one.
