POV: You finally realise there are careers that reward performance, not just time. A few years ago I had no idea what tech sales even was. Fast forward to today and I work fully remotely, have the flexibility to work from almost anywhere, and increased my income from under £30k to £100k + a year. The reason salaries in tech sales can be so high is because your role directly impacts a company’s revenue. If you help bring in millions of pounds worth of new business, companies are willing to pay exceptionally well to attract and retain top performers. That’s why you’ll often see a high base salary alongside something called OTE (On-Target Earnings), which includes commission for hitting your targets. It’s a career that rewards skill, resilience and performance not just the number of years you’ve been in the workforce. I genuinely wish more people knew this industry existed because I certainly didn’t. Interested in breaking into tech sales? Comment TECH below and I’ll show you how people from backgrounds like retail, hospitality, customer service, teaching, beauty, recruitment and the NHS are making the transition into one of the UK’s highest-paying entry routes in tech. Please note: This is a paid accelerator programme designed for people who want structured support on how to break into the industry. #TechSales #CareerChange #RemoteJobs #UKCareers #TechCareers
