Recruiters asking, “Are you interviewing at other companies?” is not about honesty. It’s about positioning. Saying, “No, just you” can make it sound like no one else wants you. But saying, “I’m in final rounds everywhere” can make them think you’re already gone. Both work against you. What they’re actually trying to figure out is: • Are you in demand? • Are you genuinely interested? • Are you worth prioritising? So here’s what to say instead 👇 If you’re early or mid process: “I’m exploring a few opportunities that align with my background, and I’m being intentional about where I invest my time. This role really stood out to me.” If you’re further along or have offers: “I am further along in a couple of other processes, but based on what I’ve learned so far, this role is a front runner for me. I’m happy to keep you updated as things progress.” This keeps you: • Honest • In demand • Credible • And high on the recruiter’s priority list Save this before your next interview. Most people mess this question up — you don’t have to. ✨ #jobsearchtips #interviewtips #careersadvice #interviewquestionsandanswers
