skincare i HATED

Products my skin absolutely hated from Ulta Beauty and what I would swap out instead. As a licensed esthetician, we're going to start off strong with the one that I literally hated on all the time. The Anua Azelaic Acid 10+ Hyaluronic Acid serum. It absolutely wrecked my skin. Like, you know me, then you know I absolutely love as like acid, but that one was much too harsh and I tried making it work for weeks. So here in the market for an affordable as like acid serum, I highly recommend this one from Peach Slices. It is lightweight, it is creamy, it is soothing. It has 10% as like acid to help with redness and hyperpigmentation. It is so good. First of all, this is $95 and second of all, nothing has ever burned my under eyes the way that this did. This is the Clarins Total Eye Lift. This is an eye cream that is meant to firm and smooth the under eyes and also help with dark circles, but the $95 price point for what you get and the fact that this was incredibly irritating, this is not it for me. So instead, if you're in the market for a product and you still want to spend a little bit of money on something that's really solid, go for the new Bloomeffects Regenlift eye serum. It's incredible. It's packed full of peptides to promote collagen production, to firm and smooth the skin. It is incredibly lightweight, does not burn my under eyes. It's also great for dark circles and depuffing. It is so good. I know it's available now on the Bloomeffects website and I believe she'll be coming to Ulta Beauty very soon. I'm sorry La Roche Posay, you know I love you, but this is just not it. This is one of the worst hyaluronic acid serums I've ever used. Super thick, super gooey. I don't feel like it leaves me with that long-lasting hydration. I would want from a hyaluronic acid serum. So please just get this one from Cocokind. Hydrating Electrolyte Rescue Serum. This has hyaluronic acid and then she's got beta glucan, she has polyglutamic acid, she has glycerin, but beyond that, she also has the electrolyte complex, which is just extra soothing on the skin. It has a nice cooling sensation when you apply it to the skin. It's chef's kiss. That hydration lasts. And girl, if you're in need of a lip balm, but you want it to be under $10, promise me, it will not be this one. It was so bad. I don't even have words for it. This is where my $10 would be going. I love the ColourPop Fresh Kiss Glossy Lip Balm. They have so many amazing scents. They even have shimmers. They actually feel nourishing and hydrating on the lips, unlike the Ordinary. I'm sorry, but I just don't feel like they do anything. Do not waste your money on these. These are hydrogel under eye patches from Mario Badescu. First of all, when they're like wet and slimy like this, I can't deal because I feel like it ends up like getting in my eye and burning my eye off. I also just don't find these to be super depuffing or hydrating. If you're looking for something to actually refine the look of your pores, specifically a pad, I would just go for the Thayers pore refining pads. They're $10. They'll help you refine those pores and also just to balance out the skin. I'm sorry, but I just can't recommend the Medicube Zero Pore Pad. They're too spicy, too spicy. They're just too much. I feel like they actually destroyed my skin barrier at one point. If you're looking for something to actually refine the look of your pores, specifically a pad, I would just go for the Thayers pore refining pads. They're $10. They'll help you refine those pores and also just to balance out the skin.
