As a single person, you can't always grab individual portions of one ingredient at the store. But that's ok, because there are ways to still buy a regular package of meat, or even buy in bulk and still make it work without wasting food. I grabbed this reduced price Italian sausage from @Wegmans because it was too good of a deal to pass up. Once I got it home, I separated each patty into a @Ziploc bag and labeled them. Now, when I'm ready to use one, I only have to defrost one without having to figure out what to do with the rest of the package. #cookingforone #smallbatch #buyinginbulk #meat #foodstorage
