Dude I felt like such a boomer at Lollapalooza yesterday. I went to see Netspend and it's all like 16 year olds. But the stage was close to another artist I was about to see. He comes out, literally every person there has their phone out. I'm like, what is going on? There's nobody on stage. Literally every person there has their phone out. And I have not ever in my life had this reaction to music. When one of the songs came on, me and my friend audibly started laughing. It was so bad that I was laughing out loud, legitimately out loud. I turned around, there's some other guys my age laughing behind me too. And maybe I just have to hear it, I don't get it. But like, it just sounded like if I went into a digital audio workstation, put on 500 tracks and just like, randomized everything. I don't know. I know I'm sure there's gonna be a bunch of people saying, oh, I'm a boomer or whatever. But like, yeah, I guess you just age out of popular music at some point. I do not get it.
