I tested five different AI

I tested five different AI code editors so that you don't have to and here are my quick one-line reviews for every single one. The first one was Z. I really liked it because it's super fast and way more performance than other VS code forks, but it lacks bleeding edge AI features like parallel agents for example that other AI code editors have and it's kind of industry standard at this point. Next up is cursor, it's the industry standard, probably the most popular right now, but you are going to have to pay a premium to the middle man to use other models outside of their compositor series of models, which isn't great if you prefer using an Opis or a GPT model instead. Next up is Anti gravity. I actually think it's really underrated. I think they have some of the best agenetic like multi-agent work stream UI with this like agent manager panel right here. But at the end of the day what you're paying for with anti gravity is to get the most amount of Gemini usage for your AI coding. And at least as of right now, I don't think it's nearly as good as a GPT 5.3 Codex or an OPUS 4.6. Open AI Codex, the desktop app is really beautifully designed. They did a really great job with it. But you are going to have to have some type of code editor which you can use like the Codex VS Code extension or the Codex CLI. And I'm really impressed with GPT 5.3 Codex. That's honestly my new daily model that I've been using lately. When you're paying for Codex, you're paying for the most amount of GPT 5.3 Codex usage. Cloud Code, the other industry standard out there. I think they're desktop UI for Cloud Code specifically, piles in comparison to Open AI Codex. The VS Code extension and CLI experience are pretty standard and competitive with Open AI Codex. When you're paying for Cloud Code, you're just paying for the up-to-most usage of OOPS 4.6 and right now I think OOPS 4.6 and GPT 5.3 Codex are the best coding models out there. And in terms of which is the best editor, Honestly, there's no simple answer for that.
