If & other stories can make a 100% natural mohair blend sweater for 69 euros, then why can't Sézane? I see comments all the time online that mohair and alpaca needs to be blended with polyamide, and that is absolutely not true. They could blend it fully with wool, or they could blend it with cotton or silk. They're choosing not to because why? Not because they care about the longevity of your sweater, not because it's cheaper for them and they make a higher profit. I used to believe that having polyamide in your sweater helped it age better. Once I switched over to 100% natural fibers, seeing the difference Sézane sweaters aged, sweaters that were like 100% wool or 100% cashmere or they were blends of natural fibers, they looked so much better. And I own alpaca blend sweaters and mohair blend sweaters where they're 100% natural. They look ten times better than my Sézane sweaters did after only a few years. If companies wanted to make 100% natural, they could and they would. But it keeps you coming back for more when your sweaters don't age very well. And they can charge more and earn a higher profit.
