gonna keep letting summer pass us by. So here are rules for summermaxxing. One night this week I want you to have ice cream after dinner. I feel like going out for ice cream during the summer is just, it's just so much more fun. Make it like a summer post-dinner. Number two, I want you to go on a tiny road trip. I'm talking like 30 to 45 minutes away from where you live. An area that you don't always go to because it's like just far enough that you don't ever spend time there. Go spend the afternoon or spend the morning there. Try restaurants that you might not usually go to because they're just a little too far away. Take advantage of it with the tiny road trip. This one might be my favorite. You're gonna have that beach day that goes into a shower that goes into dinner. You know, when you're on vacation and you spend all day on the beach and you're a little sunburnt, you take that shower after and then you throw on like a maxi dress and go to dinner with your friends. Nothing feels more like summer than that. If you don't live near the beach, this could be pool day, shower, dinner. Same concept. I love this one so much. Number four, romanticize the errand. Put on a cute outfit, put on a fun playlist to listen to in the car on the way to the errand. Maybe make a little vlog out of it. Take something that would typically be like an annoying errand like grocery shopping and romanticize the hell out of it. Number five, make your car summer-ready. You need to have a bikini, a towel and flip-flops and a change of clothes in your car at any given time. Or if you don't live near the beach, and hiking is more your summer activity, you want to have your hiking boots, a workout set, sunscreen, etcetera, all in your car at any given time. And that being said, I highly encourage you to take a little detour instead of going home. We pop by the beach or maybe pop by a little nature trail. Change into your clothes and go enjoy your summer. Number six, outdoor shower. Oh, I love an outdoor shower. If you have one at your house, how does it feel to be God's favorite? But if you don't find an outdoor shower this week, they just hit different, especially after a beach day. And number seven, magazine over phone. Just once this week, I want you to put down your phone and I want you to grab a magazine instead. Maybe while you're on the beach, while you're tanning, maybe while you're on the couch relaxing. Something about thumbing through a magazine is honestly pretty nostalgic. It takes you out of your phone and the doom scroll, even for just a little bit. Every Sunday I'm gonna be dropping the rules for summermaxxing on my page for the following week. So if you want to make sure your summer does not pass you by, make sure you save this and follow for more.
