Homework assignments for the week just went live! Hello, ambitious girlies, and welcome to week 26 of the homework assignment of the Great Lock-in. I don't know what this is, but I started creating homework assignments at the beginning of this year that basically double as a lock-in, um, in the sense that you're locking in your joy. This is like the most whimsical, ridiculous list every single week that I make because I realized as an ambitious girlie and just being busy all the time, my to-do list is everything that I have to do and not things that I can do. Random shit that you would quite literally never put on a to-do list. So I took it upon myself as an Aries to create the list myself. You have a fully stacked curriculum per usual. So let's jump into the theme of this week is that everything makes a good story. I was thinking about this in the context of my career, storytelling as a whole is one of the best skills ever, but I think we also need to be reframing everything that happens in our lives as, oh, good story. That's a good story. And I think once you do that, everything starts to carry less shame. You like a little unique twist in a story to yes tell. It is going to make a great story. Artist of this week is Robin. I don't need to explain exceptional. There are other songs. Besides dancing on my own, but you could also just listen to that song on repeat this entire week. This week's homework assignment is switching up the coffee order. I know I say this a lot, but I do think that when you go and you order a coffee and you switch it up every couple months, like it does revive something in yourself. It really does. Lately, I've been so fixated on an iced hazelnut oat milk latte. I've never liked hazelnut oat milk lattes. Suddenly, I'm feeling amazing. You can have a chill fourth. Hey, you can have a very chill fourth. Just in general, everyone hypes up the Fourth of July and it's like you have to have plans, you have to go to the beach, you have to do all this stuff. Like you can have a chill fourth wherever you are. Um, if it doesn't make sense for you to travel or literally do anything, literally totally fine. You can do like a sitcom summer, pick the signature spot with your friends before work at like a diner or a local spot. I'm not doing that before work. I'm so sorry, I'm not. So you could do like a sitcom summer adaptation where you're picking a signature spot that you guys like or a new spot that's where you hang out. And literally you're in a sitcom now. Next up on this week's homework assignment, lettuce wraps are actually good now. I've always been like, why are you eating that? Why aren't you eating literal bread? I tried the lettuce wraps in New York City, but you could literally make them anywhere and a perfect crunch. It's so refreshing. Lettuce wraps are actually good now. I just decided unintentionally. Every single summer I have like one signature product. Whether it's makeup, a new lotion, a hairspray. Like there's always something that I'm just like reaching for more in the summertime. And I think specifically for the girlies, like something that gives you that glow that's like super effortless. You don't have to spend $50 on something. You don't have to. If you want to, that's fine. You can also just use something you already have. And I'm gonna plug my favorite lotion ever right now. I've seen everyone post about it. It's the best smelling lotion, but it also just gives you the best glow ever. It could also be your favorite eyeshadow palette, your favorite highlighter. Like literally latch onto a product you already have or if you're feeling like you want to buy one, you can, but again, you do not have to. Okay, next up on this week's homework assignment, TV morning, but show from high school. I've talked about this before, this concept of like looking forward to less. Can you write down something every single day in your notes app, the night before, of like what you're looking forward to the next day. Can you get your coffee? Can you get a pastry? Dinner with your friend, the night before. Like what are you looking forward to? I don't know. Writing in your notes app. TV morning, but show from high school. I've been here for 15 years. I always watch TV before work in the morning. It is what it is. I actually want to go back to watch a show from high school. Like, um, PLL or literally the hills, just giving so much nostalgia. And I'm like, yeah, I need that. TV morning, but show from high school. Last but not least on this week's homework assignment, side quest weekend. I've been in the mood for a little side quest weekend. I don't even know what that is. But the best thing about a side quest is you don't know until you are out of the side quest that it was a side quest. That's typically how it goes. This weekend is obviously the Fourth. But you could also just turn it into a side quest weekend. Just find random things to do in the city or town or literally wherever you live. Thank you guys so much for joining. This week's homework assignment, happy pride. I'll see you on next week's homework assignment.
