Why it worked

The video likely performed well due to its relatable "haul" format, the creator's genuine excitement, and the visually appealing product (polka dot backpack) which taps into popular aesthetics like Y2K.

Summary

The creator excitedly unboxes a new polka dot Jansport backpack. She expresses her love for the backpack and her anticipation of using it for back-to-school shopping.

Product placement

Jansport: it ACTS - it is a backpack that the creator is showing off and is excited about. Removing it would change what happens in the video. Jansport logo: it APPEARS - it is a logo on the backpack. Removing it would not change what happens in the video.
