Sometimes the best cocktails come from having no plan at all. For this challenge, my wife handed me a random bottle from the back bar and my job was to build something around it. When I create cocktails this way, I'm not thinking about a finished recipe. I'm thinking about balance. Every ingredient gets tasted, every aroma gets evaluated, and each addition determines where the drink goes next. This build started with Amaro CioCiaro and evolved into a refreshing highball with rich coffee notes, subtle biscotti flavors, bright citrus, and a crisp tonic finish. It's a fun reminder that creativity often starts with simply opening a bottle. What random spirit or liqueur should I build a cocktail around next? Leave your suggestion in the comments!
