The Right Hand is a modern classic created by legendary bartender Sam Ross in the mid-2000s while working at Milk & Honey in New York City. It was inspired by the Negroni, but swaps gin for aged rum and adds chocolate bitters, creating a richer, warmer cocktail with incredible depth. It's part of Sam Ross's "Hand" series of cocktails, which also includes the Left Hand and the Final Ward. If you enjoy spirit-forward, bittersweet cocktails, this is one that deserves a spot in your repertoire. Save this recipe for your next cocktail night and let me know what classic cocktail I should make next!
