🍪Teaching my puppy 50 commands. Part 3/50 🐶 This is how I easily taught my new puppy 'drop it' from someone who's never trained a dog before! I taught my mini dachshund puppy, Cookie, to drop it early because I wanted to be able to safely take things away without turning it into a game of chase. We now use it with my plants, my socks, clumps of grass in the garden... and all the other random things she somehow manages to find! 🙈 This is my very first puppy. One of the commands I taught my dachshund puppy I'm so glad I dared from day one and one of the easiest things you can do is just throughout randomly throughout the day get a treat and just say drop it and drop it on the floor that teaches her that when you say that something amazing's coming and she'll stop whatever she's doing and look for that treat when she's got something in her mouth, like a sock or something you don't want her to have, drop drop and stop and look for the treat but just make sure every time you say it you give her a treat drop it You how easy was?
