You're dating somebody and you don't know their motives, God does. But how do you know? Someone who's sent by God does not pull you closer to them. They push you closer to God. A lot of people are looking for emotional connection. No, look for the spiritual connection. The right person from God will always make you love God more, not need them more. And that's why I say, focus on a relationship that bleeds into all other relationships. How can you recognize a person from God if you're not even walking with God personally? So your relationship has to always reveal it cannot replace God. A lot of people try to replace God. Not good. So you cannot discern if a person is from God if you yourself are not aligned with God anyways. And if you're not, probably shouldn't be looking for a relationship. You should work on the relationship that bleeds into all other relationships, which is the relationship between you and God
