A few days ago, I cracked. I had a big decision. I prayed about it. I checked every detail. I got confirmation. I signed. And then it collapsed. Not because I was careless. Because the information I was given wasn't true. I started condemning myself. "You should've known better. You messed this up. Can't do anything right." From 10 in the morning until 9 at night, I was on the phone trying to fix it. Explaining. Escalating. Waiting. Getting told no again and again. Every door I touched slammed shut. I didn't want to pray. I was frustrated with God. I kept thinking, I did everything by the book. I was cautious. I prayed. Why would He allow this? But when everything finally got quiet, something shifted. I started remembering grace. The seasons things worked. The fact that my life is radically different than it used to be. My heart softened. The situation was still unresolved. Nothing about the mess had changed. But I sensed God asking me something deeper. Not to figure it out. Not to fix it. Just to trust Him. I realized something painful and freeing at the same time. Trust is hardest when you did everything right and it still went wrong. It's easy to trust God when you know you messed up. It's much harder when you were sincere and still got hurt. That's where faith gets real. I was leaning on outcomes, not God. I wanted discernment to guarantee success, not to deepen dependence. And God didn't shame me for cracking. He stayed. Even in my frustration. Even in my silence. Faith is not proven when things work. It's revealed when they don't. So tonight, instead of fixing, I'm choosing to lean. Not on the situation. Not on the timeline. On Him. I cracked. But God didn't. And that's enough for tonight. If you want daily reminders to lean on Him and not on your understanding, plus everything I've been teaching for years, I built an app for that. L1NK 1N B10 to download my app for free
